Midthunder originates from the Fort Peck Assiniboine Tribe. She was originally from her home in the Navajo Nation of Shiprock in New Mexico. After spending most her childhood at Santa Fe (where she went to the Academy for Technology and the Classics and where her mom worked at a casting company), she returned home. Amber was born in New Mexico, is Native American from her father's lineage, is a member of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber was birthed to an adoptive mom which means that Amber has no recognized mixed ancestry. Prey includes a mostly Native American ensemble, with Dakota Beavers playing Naru's older brother and Jhane myers acting as the producer. Jhane is Comanche and Blackfeet and has advised Prey on a variety times. Coco the charming animal actress that plays Sarii was selected because of her unique breed in the form of an American Dingo. Carolina Dogs are among the oldest breeds.
The narration of TJ throughout the film revolves on Amanda, and some may be about his daughter. He confessed to Amanda that he was in love, however Amanda refused because she was already in a relationship with Daniel. After Amanda's death, Emily revealed that she was Emily. Since then, the two have become best friends. In the series finale, they get married. Amanda kisses Wilf at the last minute. She is the only one who wins the pot.
